We are looking for a passionate, hard-working Cloud Software Engineer to help develop large scale, distributed cloud native stack.
Our Cloud Software engineers invent, design, build, deliver, and operate solutions that drive standards and efficiency across the ecosystem. They build the infrastructure that allows other software engineers to quickly deploy, run and scale their software. They plan, design, develop, test, and modify software systems or applications for enhancements and new products that are specifically focused on cloud service development. Using current programming language and technologies, writes code, completes programming, and performs testing and
debugging of applications. Complete documentation and procedures for installation and maintenance.
Roles and responsibilities will include:
- Write high quality distributed software for large scale applications
- Work with product management and cross functional teams to provide technical solutions for desired user experiences
- Work with other team members to architect and design approaches
- Prototype new technology and evaluate technical feasibility
- Take ownership of large components
- Drive best practices and engineering excellence
- Work in an Agile/Scrum environment
- Knowledge of professional software engineering practices and best practices for the software development life cycle
- Experience in communicating with technical teams, and management to collect requirements, describe software product features, and technical designs

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your school work/classes/research and/or relevant previous job.
Minimum RequirementsBachelor's OR Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical/Electronics' Engineering or any other related field.
2+ years of experience developing production-level software in Java, Python, C/C++, and/or Go.
2+ years of experience with Kubernetes, Docker, containers.
1+ years of experience with Service Mesh and Microservices.
2+ years of experience with open source software development.
2+ years of experience with MongoDB/etcd or another NoSQL or relational database.
2+ years of experience with code versioning tools such as Git.
Preferred Qualifications:2+ years of experience with continuous integration, automated unit testing and integration testing.
2+ years of experience with Agile and various process implementations. Inside this Business Group
